The RT-844 is a four-wing version revolving security portal system. With this thin four-wing design, the RT-844 offers more interior transit room for ingress and egress as well as faster throughput.
SAIMA’s standard weight management system provides protection from any piggybacking or tailgating through any of the four rotating sectors. Should there be a tailgating attempt, the portal will reverse its flow and instruct the tailgating patron to exit the transit area.
The RT-844 is available with Metal Detection and Volumetric Systems to detect abandoned objects and to eliminate the introduction of weapons into a secure area. In case of a metal or object alarm the RT-844 will first instruct the patron to exit the portal and then reverse its rotation to check the interior transit area for objects.
The RT-844 can be operated using continuous wing rotation, rotation upon positive identification, or rotation upon proximity.
